Brooks Divide 5 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes

Ready for roads, trails and wet weather, the Divide 5 GORE-TEX will prepare you for anything. Waterproof, breathable protection works with soft cushioning, sticky traction and a familiar road-shoe fit to help you transition easily from road to trail and back again.

GORE-TEX Upper

The Divide 5 GORE-TEX utilise a GORE-TEX membrane through the construction of the upper, to provide you with waterproof and breathable protection on the trails. The shoes will keep your feet cool and dry when traversing the constantly changing conditions on your next trail running adventure. Allowing a constant supply of air to flow freely through the shoes, the GORE-TEX membrane is highly breathable, to prevent overheating and keep feet feeling fresh. To ensure feet remain dry and protected from the rainy and wet trail conditions, the shoes are highly waterproof and have moisture-wicking properties to prevent the build-up of sweat and moisture within the shoes. Additionally, the shoes have a soft tongue and collar to reduce chafing or irritation, enhancing in-shoe comfort and protecting your feet against rocks and uneven surfaces. Finally, the Divide 5 GORE-TEX utilises a traditional lacing system, offering a locked-in, secure fit, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring.

DNA Loft v2 Midsole

Constructed using Brooks' DNA Loft v2, the Divide 5 GORE-TEX provides outstanding underfoot cushioning and plush comfort, thanks to the excellent balance of rubber, air and lightweight foam. This reiteration of the iconic DNA Loft v2 is now even lighter in weight, 10% lighter than their predecessors, to keep you ready to tackle whatever the trail throws at you. Offering soft, customised cushioning, the midsole provides you with excellent energy return for bouncy, responsive strides by adapting to your running stride and providing you with an optimum level of comfort. With shock-absorbing properties, the midsole helps to reduce injuries that can occur when striking down on hard, unforgiving trail paths, for distraction-free, enjoyable strides.

TrailTack Green Outsole

To provide you with outstanding grip and traction across a variety of surfaces, the outsole of the Divide 5 GORE-TEX is a TrailTack Green compound to keep you secure with the ground below. The outsole is ideal for those technical trail adventures, providing you with the grip you need across the varied surfaces of your typical trail running endeavour. Multi-directional, high surface-area lugs feature on the outsole to increase grip and traction. This outsole has been constructed using 25% recycled materials.
