If you’re looking for an aggressive, all-terrain beast that devours even the toughest of trails you can’t go wrong the new and improved Inov8 Mudclaw 300. Trust us, with these bad-boys on your feet you’ll be primed to go toe-to-toe and blow-for-blow with the great outdoors and keep coming back for more!
Built with a Precision Fit for minimal internal movement and a close, responsive feel, the new Mudclaw 300 retains its signature 8mm Lug Pattern and 6mm Offset but incorporates a new, more flexible upper and a revised outsole design.
Make no mistake, Inov8 have pulled out all the stops to make this edition of the Mudclaw the best to date, engineering the Ballistic Nylon Upper to be as flexible as possible without sacrificing durability or support.
A 4-Bar Synthetic Met-Cradle delivers outstanding locked-down support at the midfoot, and although the Reinforced Mesh Upper is supple and responsive, it’s still tough enough to withstand the punishment of unforgiving surfaces and high-wear abrasion.
Meanwhile, a water-repellent DWR Coating ensures your feet stay dry and comfortable in the wettest and muddiest of conditions, and there’s a Fully Gusseted Tongue to prevent stones and debris entering the inner.
But the main point of difference between this shoe and the previous Mudclaw 300 is the heel unit, which has been lifted directly from Inov8’s Mudclaw 265 for this edition so the new 300 can ride flatter and lower than its predecessor. It also gives the shoe more stability when the foot lands imperfectly through fatigue, or because you’re running on uneven surfaces.
Long-standing fans needn’t worry, however, as the change in heel hasn’t affected the 300’s hero-status outsole. It’s still the absolute daddy for grip when you’re ascending and descending the steepest and wettest of slopes. The outsole’s first generation MetaShank also aligns perfectly with every metatarsal in the foot for added impact protection, better flexibility and improved efficacy through the stride.
